Eileen Hoffer passed away quietly on the morning of Sunday January 14th, 2018 at Moran Vista senior living at 10:10 am. Her two sons, Ron Hoffer and Darren Ammons and family were with her as she quietly and peacefully slept.

Eileen was born September 7th 1930, in Brooklyn, NY.

During her long and colorful life she was everything from a model to secretary, head cook at quite a few restaurants to include her own, "The Blue Loft". She eventually retired from restaurants to writing a cooking column for the Daily World out of the East County News office. She finally retired from a career as an in home care provider. And then enjoyed the rest of her days around her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Ron and Darren,  their wives, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
