Jacob Logan Smith

The man, the myth, the legend, Jake Smith. He was born in Denver, Colorado on July 5th, 1980. Jake was a beloved father, husband, son, and friend. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 7th, 2024 at the age of 43. He is survived by his mother; Jeanne, father; Patrick, wife; Megan, and children; Kylie and Josh.

Jake's journey was one marked by deep connections, a passion for the automotive industry, music,  and his love for Denver sports teams. He had an unwavering commitment to spreading love, kindness, and generosity everywhere he went. An enthusiast of all things automotive, Jake's love for cars went beyond the average hobby. This transcends to his passion into car clubs including Earthbound, Pharcyde, Severed Ties, and most recently a Sergeant for Sunset Cascadia.

He was always known as the guy to go to for music suggestions. He was an avid follower of all genres. As a father to Kylie and Josh, he was endlessly supportive, guiding them with a gentle hand and an open heart. Jake and his wife Megan were known as the two who always loved and loved deep. Jake's love was unconditional, and he expressed it in countless ways, from quiet moments spent together to grand gestures that brought joy to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a community of friends and family who were profoundly impacted by his generosity and spirit.

A memorial service in honor of Jake's life will be held at Hennessy Funeral Home and Crematory on April 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a celebration of life being held at Birdys Sports Bar to follow. This service is a nod to his love for his friends and family. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Drug Dependency and Alcohol Awareness organization, a cause in which affected him in many ways.
