Lloyd A. Anderson, 89 years old, of Spokane Washington entered into heaven and was reunited with his wife and son on March 10, 2024. Lloyd was born in Salem, Oregon on September 21, 1934 to Lloyd Sr and Mildred. He was the only son of 4 children. Lloyd served 4 years active and 4 years reserve in the United States Air Force. Lloyd worked at Kaiser Mead Plant for 40 years and raised 5 children in north Spokane with his beloved wife Arlene. Lloyd was an avid rockhound and enjoyed making beautiful jewelry. He loved fishing, watching hockey games, and volunteering at the Peacefull Valley Community Center with his son Keith. He also enjoyed feeding his birds, watching the squirrels, and loving his dog, Gidget. He was an amazing father, brother and grandfather who will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arlene of 52 years, and son Keith. He is survived by his daughter Diana (Jim) Somerville, Cheryl (John) Riley, Patty (Joe) Keane, and Kim Taggart. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters. A visitation will be held from 8:30am to 11am with service starting at 11am, March 23, 2024 at Hennessey Funeral Homes, 2203 North Division Street. Graveside service will be held at 1pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 North Wall Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Spokane Humane Society.
