Virginia I Garrity

Virginia Irene Garrity of Spokane, Washington passed away at age 95 on March 30, 2024.  She was born in Fargo, North Dakota on August 29, 1928, to Henry and Inga Ostby Haagenson.  She was married to Wayne Joseph Garrity of Spokane for 63 years before his passing in 2013.  Virginia enjoyed playing B-I-N-G-0, shopping, and collecting owls. Virgina is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Inga, husband Wayne, sister Beverly Martin, and sons David, Daniel, and Timothy.   She is survived in death by her brother Philip Haagenson, sons Patrick and Scott, daughters Denise Colley and Katie Cargill (Rick), six grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Followed by a memorial service on April 6, 2024, at 1 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home (2203 N Division St, Spokane).
