Aloe Marie Marrero, 73 years of age, of Deer Park, Washington passed away September 6, 2023, of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at her home. She was born Donna Marie DesFosses in Holyoke, Massachusetts on September 18th, 1949 to John and Claire DesFosses. She grew up as the middle child with 4 siblings (Carol, John, Wayne and Pam). Aloe graduated from Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga University with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing, respectively. She was married to Randy Marrero for the last 25 years. She worked as family nurse practitioner for the Indian Health Service and loved helping people. Diabetes education and care were her passion. She will be deeply missed and always remembered by those she leaves behind. She is survived by Randy Marrero, Joshua Perry (Kristin Perry), Michael Marrero, Rebecca Britton (Jeff Britton) and Bethany DesFosses. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren (Ronan Perry, Conor Perry, Karlee Griffin, Elida Britton, Davik Britton and Kohl Britton). She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Claire DesFosses.
