On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, Baron Vaughn Goodshield, loving Son, Brother and Uncle passed away at the age of 52.
Baron was born January 30, 1969 and Graduated Class of 88 from Ferris High School. Baron was an outstanding athlete and had a passion for wrestling, winning multiple State and National championships. He also ran in Marathons. In his Senior year, Baron enlisted into the Army where he excelled in rank and character. He was deployed to Panama and Honduras where he received numerous medals and certificates of honor for his service. Baron reenlisted with the Air National Guard and was later honorably discharged.
Baron had a passion for music and was well read in many areas including history and firearms which he enjoyed discussing and researching. He maintained his appreciation for wrestling through the years and enjoyed being outdoors and bicycle riding. While not a religious man, Baron held a strong faith in Christianity.
Baron was preceded in death by his biological father Charles, and his brother Mike. He is survived by his Mother, Kateri and Father Ron as well as his sibling Anna, Carol, Carmen, Bob, Brian, Jim, Jeff and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 10th from 1 – 4 pm at Hennessy Funeral home located at 2203 N. Division. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 13th at 1:30 pm at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery located at 21702 W Espanola Rd.
