Dale Russell Hadford

Dale R. Hadford, 64, passed away on November 5, 2018. He was born in Great Falls,
Montana, on May 21, 1954, to Wendell Dean Hadford and Elizabeth Nye. Dale
graduated from Charles M. Russell High School in 1972. He helped his mother manage
a laundromat and worked his way through college, achieving a business degree from
Montana State University. Dale moved to Spokane, Washington, where he attended
The Rock of Ages Church and believed in the transforming grace of his loving savior
Jesus Christ. There he met the love of his life, Debra Jean Johnson. They were married
on September 17, 1983 and joyfully dedicated 35 years of marriage to each other.
Together they raised their three children, followed by their two grandchildren, who
brought new hope and joy into their life. Dale truly was a blessed man. Dale began his
career in banking and later he and Debra formed a small remodeling business, which
included transforming fixer-upper houses into beautiful family homes. Dale taught the
skill of carpentry to those who worked with him, creating an environment of camaraderie
and dignity. He found adventure in fishing, skiing, camping, backpacking and
canoeing with his family. He had an eye for spotting wildlife and enjoyed the beauty of
nature. After an ATV accident, Dale suffered with kidney and heart failure for 11 years.
During those years, he grew to value the small joys of life and the people who
surrounded him. He listened well and filled his family with his love and pride. Dale was
loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed and always remembered. Dale is
survived by his wife Debra; his children Alexandria, Vanessa, and Andrew; and his
grandchildren Marcus and Olivia.
