Dana Leonard Whitlow

Dana Leonard Whitlow, aged 68, passed away November 7, 2022, in Spokane Valley, Washington.

Dana was born July 15, 1954 in Orofino, Idaho to Raymond and Corrine Whitlow. After graduating from Reardan High School, Dana joined the Air Force. He married Shirleen Sanders shortly after and they had one child, Rachel (Whitlow) Chambers before separating.

After working for Columbia Lighting for many years, Dana retired and spent his time riding his motorcycle, including to Sturgis several times, and working on old Studebakers.

Dana is survived by his partner of many years, Joan Vanhook, as well as his brother Mike Whitlow, sister Susan Poch, and daughter Rachel Chambers.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, Tralana Chambers, Mitchell Chambers, Mercedes Carney, and Justin Carney as well as eight great grandchildren.

There will be private service for family; a memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family asks that a donation to a charity of your choice be made in his name in lieu of flowers.

Dana will be missed by all who knew him.
