Tribute

 

James ”Jim” Zoesch – devoted husband, father of two, grandfather of three and friend to many- passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2022.

Jim was born to Allen and Jeannette Zoesch in Spokane, Washington on September 23, 1963.  He graduated from Rogers High School, served 4 years in the United States Navy and then received his BA from Eastern Washington University.  He enjoyed a career in IT.  While serving in the Navy, Jim met the love of his life, Elizabeth “Beth” Zoesch, née Loeding, (in a bar :)).  They were happily married for over 33 years and raised two children, Kayla, 29, and Tyler, 27. 

Jim enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, motorcycle rides with his bride, finding new golf courses to conquer, discovering new wines, traveling the world, and spending time on the coast flying his kites, and passing these interests on to the next generation.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Mary, and brother Timothy, and his best friend Darrell Korbel.  He is survived by his wife Beth, their children Kayla and Tyler and his grandchildren Kennedy, Gabriella and Roger.  He is also survived by his siblings, Sharron (Steve) Gump, Jan Zoesch, Terry (Julie) Zoesch, Larry (Sheri) Zoesch, Dan (Missy) Zoesch, Kathy Campbell (Glen Campbell), and Bill Zoesch.  Jim is also survived by LeRoy and Angela Loeding, Terri (Michael) Greenfield, Steve Loeding, Gail Loeding, Jenny (Mark) Bukowy, Gerald Loeding and Donna (Mathew) Dietzler.  Jim was also a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

In his memory, donations can be made to Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery in lieu of flowers, as this organization was dear to him.

Memorial services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Homes & Crematories (2203 N Division, Spokane, WA 99207).  There will be visitation held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by the service at 1:00 pm with reception afterwards.  Jim will be interned at the VA Cemetery at a later date.
