Janet Lorraine Griswold (Lyons) went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2021.

Janet Lorraine Griswold (Lyons) was born on January 23, 1933 to William Harlie Lyons and Selma Irene Lyons of Cheney, Washington. She had 14 brothers and sisters.

She married the love of her life, Harold Griswold in 1974. She has 3 children: Daniel Blain Borden, Kim Barnes (Griswold), and Gregory David Borden.

Jan was a fun and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was always up for a good time and enjoyed laughing with family and friends. She had a passion for solving puzzles, sewing, doing crafts, bird watching, playing cards, occasionally traveling, and shopping. She made her home in Davenport, WA with her son and daughter in law for many years, then moved to Kennewick, WA to be near her daughter where she spent the remainder of her life on Earth.

Janet is survived by her brothers Paul Lyons (New Orleans, LA) and James Lyons (Seattle, WA) son, Dan Borden (Carolyn Borden), daughter, Kim Barnes (Steve Barnes), daughter-in-law, Shelby Borden, grandchildren, Tarra Bouanani, Kassie Meyer, Dylan Borden, Patrick Barnes, Cory Borden, Katrina Borden, and Chevelle Borden, and great-grandchildren, Ben Pointer, Brandon Pointer, Javin Meyer, Jericho Meyer, Aurora Borden, Sebastian Borden, Seth Borden, Atticus Borden, Ryan Barnes, and Ariana Haley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Griswold; son, Gregory Borden; and many of her brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 followed by a service at 2:00 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home located at 2203 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99207.
