John Paul Silvia

          John P. Silvia; 90; of Spokane, WA passed away February 7, 2020. He was born in North Adams, MA on March 12, 1929. John graduated from Drury High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1948 to 1953. He was married to Carol Silvia and together they had eight children. John spent much of his retirement doing volunteer work, most recently for S.C.O.P.E. and the guardianship program through the Spokane courthouse. He had a passion for family, golf, reading and taking drives around town. John was survived by his wife Carol; daughters Debra Bell, Paula Brocchini, Susan Garrick, Elizabeth Connely, Jennifer Silvia and sons Clark Stenerson, Greg Silvia and David Silvia.

          Rest in Peace John; you will be truly missed.

          A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 29th from 1 to 4 p.m. at St Luke’s Lutheran Church at 9704 N Division St Spokane, WA 99218. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the VA Memorial Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
