We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory
Joseph W. Kelly went to be with our Lord on September 17th, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Spokane, wa in 1956, he was the 7th born of 11 children, preceded in death by parents Ben and Thelma Kelly and Brother Mike Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Kelly; daughters Molly Chase (Cody) and Amanda Haas (Keith); grandchildren Emily Wirth (Jordan), Alexandra, Ashlyn, Ian, Aubree, and one great-granddaughter, Piper; brothers Paul, Mark, Tom, and Dave and sisters Katie, Bridget, Brenda, Mary, Kerrie; as well as many in-laws and nieces and nephews. Joe attended Trinity Catholic School through the 8th grade, and from there, he graduated high school from North Central. Joe received all of his sacraments at St. Anthony’s Parish including marriage to his wife Sandra of 45 years. Joe’s greatest loves were God and his family. He enjoyed sports, playing cards, camping, taking road trips with his wife, and watching his grandkids do what they loved (soccer, basketball, baseball, theater). Sundays were his favorite day of the week, always spending them with family cheering on the Seahawks, playing cards and backyard sports, fantastic food, and a good drink. Joe is loved and missed already and will be in our hearts forever. Rosary will be on Sunday, September 25th at 4:30 pm at Hennessey Funeral Home on N. Division. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 26th at 10 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with his nephew Reverend Darrin Connall as the Celebrant. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
