Josephine Virginia Cox

Our beloved mother, Josephine Virginia Cox passed away peacefully at age 91, residing in Spokane, Washington. She died September 14 from natural causes at the Holy Family Hospital. She was born July 13, 1931 in Thorpe, Wisconsin. She was the youngest of 13 children of Joseph and Mary Novobilski.  Josephine had a degree in cosmetology; she married Richard G Cox on December 13, 1948. 

She was an avid quilter, loved to crochet, and do needlework. Josephine will be interred with her husband at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington. She is proceeded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and her husband Richard G Cox.

Survivors include Sister Rose Roseburg, 93 of Yakima, WA, Daughters Charly Bledsoe of Spokane, WA, Jeannie King of Pahrump, Nevada, Granddaughters Leilani Quiray of Hudson Valley, New York, Melia Gullotti of Pasadena, California and her Great grandson Noah Perkins of Newport Beach. 

A celebration of life to be scheduled and announced by family at a later date. 
Josephine will be greatly missed until we are all reunited by Jesus in Heaven.
