Lang Hong was born on August 7, 1939 in Rach Gia, Vietnam. She passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Lang enjoyed serving as a teacher in Vietnam. Lang and her family moved to the U.S. in 1975 and have been residents of Spokane, Washington since 1976 where she retired from K&L Manufacturing Co. She was proud of her U.S. citizenship. Lang is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Kien Hong; her brother, Tran Van Khai; four children, Kiet Hong (Polly), James Hong (Lien), Jimmy Hong (Phoi) and Yome Hong (Melissa); and three grandchildren, Griffin Hong, Isaiah Hong and Sophia Hong; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by all.
