Mary E Judd

Judd, Mary E. (Hinch), Age 89

Mary passed away at her home surrounded by family on August 2, 2022.

She was born in Spokane to Elmer and Gertrude Hinch on October 2, 1932.

As a lifelong resident of Spokane she attended Marycliff High School and Kinman Business University.

While working at Jensen Byrd she met the love of her life Walt Judd, an airman stationed at Fort George Wright. They were married August 22, 1953, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They enjoyed almost 68 years of marriage before Walt’s death in April 2021. After raising their 5 children she went to work for House of Lloyd/Christmas Around The World, where she enjoyed meeting lots of new people while doing in home parties.

Mom was the ultimate homemaker, a job that she was born to do. She enjoyed baking on a daily basis and had dinner on the table at 5pm every day, and you better not be late!

 Mom loved volunteering at St Charles School where her children attended. She never missed a game or event. She was an avid shopper always looking for a bargain. A skill that she passed down not only to her kids but grandkids too. Mom’s family was the greatest joy of her life. Mom was the happiest when spending time with her children, grandkids and great grandkids.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband Walt, parents, sister Delores and brother Ed.

Survived by her children; Linda (Jerry) Enterprise, Oregon, Dan (LuAnn), Rich (Teri), Donna (Stan), Chris (Scott) all of Spokane; grandchildren, Joe (Rebecca), Brianna (Aaron), Ashley (George), Kyle (Aleesha), Haley, Jarrod (Katie), Cameron, Melissa (Damian), 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
