Thomas Norman Talbot

Thomas Norman Talbot, age 85, of Spokane, Washington, passed away September 6, 2023, in Spokane. Tom was born in Kellogg, Idaho, on February 19, 1938, to Harry and Dorothea Talbot. He was raised in Spokane and graduated from Rogers High School in 1956.

He married Linda Watson on November 4, 1959 and shared nearly 64 years of marriage. They raised three children, losing son Todd in 1979.

Tom had a long and proud career in the telephone industry - beginning after high school into retirement from US WEST in 1990 and beyond. Tom coached youth sports, and many family memories are centered around the ball field and riding motorcycles.

He enjoyed his craft, his family, and his friends and neighbors throughout his many years in Spokane, a place he always referred to as "God's country." He will be deeply missed by all those he has left behind.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dick Talbot; sister, Sandra Rogers; and his son Todd Talbot.

Tom Talbot is survived by his wife, Linda Talbot; his son, Tate Talbot (Patti); his daughter, Lori Pulsifer (Randy); grandson Gage Pulsifer (Krista) and two great-granddaughters, Zella Mae and Elsie; and grandson Sterling Pulsifer.

Arrangements are pending for a celebration of Tom's life with his family and friends.
